Paula Pappenheim

Paula Pappenheim studied Fine Arts, between Madrid and New York and a master’s degree in Textile and Surface Pattern Design, at the IED Madrid school of design.

Over the last decade, she had the great pleasure of seeing her illustrations present in the world of fashion at the highest level, on the New York catwalk with the Custo Barcelona clothing line. As part of her collaboration with this fashion giant, in 2010 she illustrated the Harley Custo, signature motorbike for Harley-Davidson, the manufacturer of the most iconic motorcycle in the world.

Between 2013 and 2015, she was the leading designer for the illustrations and patterns department of the famous Marcel Wander design studio in Amsterdam. She worked there on highly successful and internationally significant projects such as the magnificent illustrations for the interactive Eurasian Garden Spirits installation, created exclusively for the Oita Prefectural Art Museum in Japan.
